ARC Quarry Lake
Dr. Ching grew up in Maryland, but has been in Texas for many years. When she is not working, Dr. Ching enjoys hiking with her husband and dog, making healthy versions of food, working out, and singing. Even though she is new to Austin, one of her favorite area locales is Enchanted Rock, though, she says, “I am sure I will find many other spots that I will love!”
Growing up alongside family members with diabetes, stroke, renal failure, and hypertension, I saw how a person’s quality of life could be impacted by chronic illness. At first, I only wanted to be part of the process of caring for people with medical concerns. Later on, I realized my passion was also in the prevention of these chronic diseases. That passion, combined with my interest in women’s health care and desire to take care of children, led to family medicine being the perfect fit for me! I believe in listening to, educating, teaming up with, and supporting my patients throughout their journey to improve or maintain their health.
