About Alyssa D. Rosales, APRN, MSN, FNP-C

  • Alyssa was born in Sacramento, CA, and grew up in Jefferson City, MO. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog, her friends, and her husband. She spends "A shameful amount of time" watching reality TV, but also enjoys trying out new restaurants, going to the movies, swimming, going out on the lake, and having dinner/seeing live music with friends. As for her favorite local spots, Alyssa and her husband love going out on Lake Austin with friends, but she says "Anywhere with water to beat the Texas heat will do!"

    Learn more about Nurse Practitioners.

My dad is a doctor and my mom is a nurse, so I grew up around medicine. I always saw myself as a caretaker, as my parents have always stressed the importance of caring for others. I felt pulled toward Family Medicine because I wanted to be a safe home base for patients where their whole health history can be considered. I believe in treating all patients the way I would want to be treated or the way I would treat a family member or friend. My hope is that we become a team that makes decisions together to achieve health goals, building trust through mutual respect and understanding. My intention is for each patient to leave healthier than they were before, while also feeling listened to, valued, and understood.
