About
Jacob A. Childers, MD
-
Dr. Childers only sees patients for Same-Day illness and injury visits. Patients should always follow up with their primary care physician (PCP) or advanced practice clinician (APC).
Dr. Childers is married to his high school sweetheart, and they have two boys. He enjoys spending time with his family, exploring Austin, road biking, snow skiing, reading non-fiction, and watching sports. He moved back to Texas after his residency, and is happy to be in the Austin area.
I chose Family Medicine because I love the challenging variety, as well as the opportunity to touch lives in multiple ways. Each day brings new challenges and personalities, and is therefore never dull or monotonous. With Urgent Care medicine, I find that I really enjoy the opportunity to help fix whatever pressing need the patient brings to me.
