I chose a career in family medicine because it offers the unique opportunity to develop long-lasting relationships with individuals and families, spanning across generations. By being involved in their healthcare journey from infancy to old age, I can gain a comprehensive understanding of their medical history, values, and preferences. At the heart of my practice lies a commitment to compassion for the physical, emotional, and spiritual struggles. I strive to approach each patient with empathy and to understand their unique circumstances. By actively listening to their concerns, I aim to establish a therapeutic relationship built on trust and mutual respect.

I have to go through you to get mental health service for my PTSD, but you don't have a network of mental health counselors that are available. So it took me 5 months to find one when it should have happened rather soon.
