About Menaka Mahadevan, MD

  • Dr. Mahadevan spent most of her youth in Arkansas, but has been a Texan for over 10 years. When she is not working, Dr. Mahadevan enjoys hiking the many trails in Austin with her dog, Tanner. She is a dog lover and has rescued three cocker spaniels. Among her favorite local spots is the Barton Creek Greenbelt.

I chose medicine because I wanted to make a difference in a person’s life in a meaningful way. Children have such pure spirits and make each day rewarding. I love seeing the personalities of my patients develop over the years. I feel it is always important to involve families in the care of their child and listen to the parents. I will always provide guidance through evidence-based medicine, but will recommend what works best for each individual family.
