I chose a career in medicine and particularly orthopedics because as a youth, I sustained multiple sports injuries that required the expertise of an orthopedic surgeon. I became fascinated by the surgeon’s ability to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in a timely manner. I believe in treating each of my patients as if they were a member of my family, and to provide a high level of care with an emphasis on patient education.
