Internal Medicine
Dr. Ferrero grew up in Round Rock and has loved being back in Central Texas to practice. When she’s not working, Dr. Ferrero enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. They love gardening, visiting local parks, and traveling!
Dr. Ferrero’s favorite part of Family Medicine is caring for patients throughout life, from infants to geriatrics, especially multiple generations within the same family. She strongly feels that all patients deserve kindness and respect and believes in a Health at Every Size and trauma-informed approach. She also has an interest in caring for LGBTQIA+ patients and adults with disabilities.
I grew up loving science, especially biology, and while at Southwestern University, had an opportunity to work at a hospital as well as an internship with the Health Department. This really opened my eyes to the possibilities within medicine, leading me to my training in San Antonio. I witnessed firsthand how special and powerful family medicine can be in influencing not just patient health, but the health of the entire community. My role as a doctor is to become a health partner and advocate for my patients, deciding on health goals together and providing recommendations and treatment in line with those goals. My hope is that my patients feel heard and cared about.
