About Andrew M. Walters, MD

  • Dr. Walters only sees patients for Same-Day illness and injury visits at ARC clinics as needed. Patients should always follow up with their primary care physician (PCP).

Outside of work, Dr. Walters is an outdoorsman and sports enthusiast – he enjoys running, swimming, surfing, camping, golf, frisbee, basketball, baseball, football, and rooting for the Orioles, Commanders, and Terrapins. He also enjoys hanging out with his wife and 3 unruly children. His favorite local spot? 'Pinthouse Pizza!''

I practice Family Medicine because every day in clinic, I get to meet new people from all over the world. I get to hear their stories, meet their families, and help them heal. In some cases, I get to see them again and again, building trust and respect while forming meaningful relationships. To me, there is nothing more rewarding. My practice philosophy is best summarized in the words of William Osler:’ It is much more important to know what sort of patient has a disease than what sort of disease a patient has.

Loved how quickly I was taken back to a room and saw the doctor. I was feeling very bad. I arrived at 11 and was driving away at 11:20.

I always enjoy coming into the office! Everyone (front desk, nurse and doctor) is always friendly, compassionate and caring

Dr Walters actually listens and takes the time to hear you and understand you, rather than rush and make you feel like you’re taking up too much of his time. Would recommend him to everyone!
