    Coordinated care across specialties

Our pediatric doctors and advanced practice clinicians (APCs) work closely with our dedicated ARC specialists who see children to coordinate your child's care. All ARC clinicians can access your child's health records directly without delay, resulting in more convenient and timely quality care for you and your child. Together, we emphasize prevention, evidence-based treatment, comprehensive care, and building long-term relationships.

My goal in caring for my patients and their families is to partner with them in reasonable ways that educate, encourage, and empower each one to become a confident caretaker of his or her own health.

Dr ward and his nurse are so great with kids. Makes them feel at ease, answers all of my questions. I never feel rushed or dismissed. My kids stay calm. Great doctor, nurse and friendly staff.

The front staff was VERY friendly and welcoming and made us feel like they were happy we were there. We showed up about 20 minutes early and they brought us back anyhow. I LOVE Dr Ward. He took time with us and answered any questions we had. Our appt did not feel rushed. The nurse was welcoming and was out going and welcoming. The lab staff was VERY friendly and made my son feel comfortable with his blood draw. The atmosphere of the clinic is welcoming and warm. We only moved to the Bastrop ARC location due to convenience, however, I MUCH rather drive an hour to see Dr Ward. Very rarely have I ever felt welcomed in Bastrop. Our physician appts have always felt rushed and like the physician didn't have time or want to discuss any concerns. Im a paramedic, I have also worked for pediatricians and family practice physicians. I understand that physician time is important and I respect their time. Im not going to come into the office with several different complex issues and expect everything be discussed in 1 visit. I Do expect to be able to get a med refill, request a yearly lab check and have a discussion with the physician about 1 issue. In Bastrop, in my experience, they dont have the time.
