I have always wanted a career helping people, and medicine has always fascinated me, so putting those two things together was a natural choice. Family Medicine affords me the opportunity to get to know my patients and play a part in helping maintain their health across their lifespan. I love learning and am passionate about educating patients, empowering them through knowledge to make informed decisions about their health. I believe in holistic, evidence-based solutions that are culturally appropriate, fit the individual’s needs, beliefs, and lifestyle while still attaining their health goals.

I just thought it strange that the lab was not back from lunch like all other departments. My appt was at 1:00pm and I’m finished at 1:30pm waiting for lab to return from lunch at 1:50pm and only 1 person in the lab room. She was really nice and did a great job taking my blood but I just felt like she is probably feeling rushed the remainder of the day and that’s not good. Just my observation.
