About Brian T. Benjamin, MD

  • Dr. Benjamin grew up in San Antonio, TX. When he is not working, he enjoys staying active, whether exercising, hiking, or playing recreational sports. He also enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, and Texas BBQ. Dr. Benjamin’s favorite Central Texas spot is the Texas Hill Country.

I chose a career in medicine so that I can be a part of a patient’s healthcare team to assist in guiding them toward overall better health for themselves and their families. Family Medicine is a field that allows me to have the extended continuity of care and rapport with patients and their families and gain their trust. With this trust, I believe in empowering my patients to be comfortable and knowledgeable of their own health such that they can advocate for themselves. I take a team approach, where you and your child are both actively involved in healthcare decisions. I use evidence-based medicine, enforcing strong scientific guidelines to ensure my patients are getting the most up-to-date and accurate information.
