About
Sithara Vemuri, MD
-
Dr. Vemuri grew up near Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh, India. In her precious free moments, she finds joy in the company of her loving husband and delightfully energetic young son. She enjoys long drives with her family through the countryside, creating lasting memories together. She says, “listening to music, gardening, and cooking are my stressbusters.” Among her favorite local spots are the breathtaking views at the Oasis restaurant and a serene canoeing experience on Lady Bird Lake.
From an early age, my passion for helping others has been a driving force in my life, and I saw that being a physician provides a unique opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to our community. During medical school, I discovered a particular calling to serve the healthcare needs of infants, children, and adolescents. Understanding and addressing their distinct healthcare needs presents a remarkable challenge — one that I eagerly embrace. As a pediatrician, it is my duty to offer expertise, guidance, and compassion to both children and their families, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being. I am deeply committed to educating parents about fostering healthy relationships with their children and equipping them with the necessary skills to support their child's development. Each day reaffirms my dedication to this noble profession, and I am honored to play a part in nurturing the future generations of our community.
