About Miriam U. Nnabuihe, APRN, FNP-C

  • Miriam grew up in New Jersey but also spent seven years in Nigeria. In her free time, Miriam likes to relax, but she enjoys cooking for her family, K-dramas, working out, and growing her faith through sermons and reading the Bible. Among her favorite area locales is Zilker Park, “for picnicking and play.”

    Learn more about Nurse Practitioners.

I’ve been interested in health care since watching my mom in my younger years in her capacity as a registered nurse at the time, and through the years, she too has advanced, as have I. She showed compassion and empathy towards her patients, and I wanted to emulate her in caring for others. I base my care on my spiritual experience and the foundation that I am not my own, and my mission is to love my neighbor as I love myself, treating others in a way that would please God.

The NP, Miriam, and the nurse were both exceptional, taking extra time to explain things and spending 20+ minutes clearing my ears of wax which finally worked in the end despite not being done in years, saving me a specialist visit. I really appreciate their dedication and helpfulness!
