About
Darian J. Harris, DO
-
Dr. Harris grew up in Austin. In her free time, she says she’s a “foodie” and is either cooking or trying new restaurants. She also spends hours in her garden, loves to spend time with her family, and enjoys watching movies, being outdoors, and Bible studies. Her favorite local spots are the parks and lakes in the Austin area.
As a pediatrician, I provide long-term care from infancy to adolescence and make an impact on social determinants of health that affect children. Working with children and their families to instill preventive and healthy living habits can result in healthier generations in the future and mitigate chronic physical and mental illnesses. I love to listen and get to know my families, and understanding the social aspects of their lives and environment helps me better serve them. I am also passionate about education, and spend extra time to teach and ensure that families feel empowered to make the best decisions about their health. And it is also a joy seeing cute babies every day and celebrating their milestones!
