About Victoria K. Gaca, MD

  • When she is not working, Dr. Gaca loves spending time with friends, family, and her cat. Live music is her favorite pastime, and she has traveled all over the country for different live music events. Dr. Gaca also enjoys walks on the trail by her home, yoga to stay active, and unwinding with TV, movies, and books. Her favorite area spot is Kerbey Lane Café - “It was one of my favorite places to eat during my college days at UT,” she says, “and still is!”

I was drawn to Internal Medicine while in medical school, as it appealed to my broad interests with its vast subject matter and wide scope of practice. I enjoy providing comprehensive medical care and treating the entire patient as a whole. I believe in practicing compassion, empathy, and open-mindedness with my patients, and always put my patients first and make decisions that are in their best interest. I believe open communication, tolerance, and trust are essential to the doctor-patient relationship. I want my patients to be actively involved in their medical care so they feel empowered to continue making healthy life choices when they leave my clinic.
