About Ricardo Longarini, MD

  • Dr. Longarini was born in Boston and grew up mainly in eastern Pennsylvania. When he is not working, he is an avid golfer and tennis player. Dr. Longarini and his wife also support their two college-age sons and two dogs. Being relatively new to the area, he looks forward to exploring Austin and Central Texas.

I was the son of an Internal Medicine/Gastroenterologist, and he was an awesome example of what I wanted to be both in my career and as a man. I believe that if one truly listens to the patient and digs deep enough, that will usually go a long way toward helping determine what is wrong with them diagnostically.

Dr. Longarini was disrespectful, had no empathy, wouldn't let me talk, I didn't get to finish my requests and thoughts and he PULLED SOMETHING OUT OF THE GARBAGE! They didn't take my vitals and I explained my heart was beating hard and fast! I am a 53 year old woman and not only have a medical background, am an avid medical reader, and know my own body better than anyone. He is very old and I'm not sure why he even is still working. I'll never go back to him. I'm going back to my original PCP, Dr. Coughlin.

both dr and asst were friendly helpful and efficient. I am actually considering changing my PCP to this office and so expiring my options. I did like the staff here.

  • May 16, 2025

    Great knowledge and care

  • May 16, 2025

Felt very comfortable with care received today by physician, his medical assistant and the lab technician.

  • May 16, 2025

He's very personable and took the time to talk to me and answered all the questions I had. I felt really comfortable with him. After Dr Hull (Far West) retired, I struggled to find a family physician who were a good fit for me. I'm glad I found Dr. Longarini.
