About Karla T. Waller, MD

  • Dr. Waller is originally from Nicaragua and relocated to Miami, Florida, as a teenager. While in medical school in San Antonio, she joined the Air Force Medical Corps. During her time as an active duty Ob/Gyn, Dr. Waller served a total of 10 years in the armed forces at Langley Air Force Base and Scott Air Force Base. In her spare time, Dr. Waller enjoys going to the park with her two sons, as they love being outdoors and exploring what nature has to offer. She also enjoys cooking, salsa dancing, pottery, and live art performances.

Women’s health is my passion, and my goal is to care for every patient with the same compassion and high level of care that I would like for myself or my loved ones. Helping women throughout all stages of life is why I became an Ob/Gyn, and I enjoy helping women achieve their health goals, whether with gynecologic issues or achieving a pregnancy.
