About Ramla Ali, MD

  • Dr. Ali grew up in the coastal city of Karachi, Pakistan. When she’s not at work, Dr. Ali enjoys cooking, socializing, and baking, including baking for bake sales, friends and family. She and herhusband are both “foodies at heart,” and like to try new places to eat as well as different dessert recipes. Although she’s lived in Austin for over 18 years, Dr. Ali still feels like she hasn’t explored Central Texas enough. She and her husband love Lake Travis, The Oasis, and the surrounding areas.

I wanted to become a doctor for as long as I can remember, inspired by my grandfather, a family physician who touched so many lives in his community with compassion and commitment to his patients and the well-being of others. I became passionate about preventive medicine at a young age. I love to see my patients grow from fragile little beings to energetic young adults. I believe in forming a close bond with the entire family in order to provide the best care for their physical and emotional well-being. Counseling patients and their parents as they cross various milestones is the best part of my job.

Ramla Ali is really good pediatrician I would highly recommend.

I don’t love that I have to schedule a second appointment to get my daughters vaccinations because she was made to feel so uncomfortable. I don’t like that the nurse seemed to be judging us from the start of the visit… everything from not completing the mental health questionnaire to having a missed well check because you know we experienced Covid and didn’t go to the doctor for a two year. Unless we had a medical need and then finally her irritation with my daughters anxiety when she literally said “we’re gonna need to wrap this up because I have other patients”. While I appreciate that there is a schedule that needs to be kept speaking to my daughter that way was not OK and only escalated not only her anxiety but also my irritation.

Caden is terrified of doctors, and he actually said the appointment was fun. That's high praise of the level of trust he felt with staff. Thank you!!

We were very pleased with the care our son received today. ARC is a stellar company with high stands and an excellent staff.

45 min wait time for a 5 min visit with no entertainment in the well child area makes me not want to recommend. Everyone is nice but the wait it’s terrible.
