“Pursuing a career in nursing as a nurse practitioner felt like a natural next step in caring for and walking alongside people during challenging times, to provide support and healing. It is a privilege to provide the education and understanding that allows my patients to have the tools necessary to make sustainable changes toward a better quality of life. Education is at the core of my practice. The GI specialty allows me to develop a relationship and build trust with my patients and take the needed time to provide personalized care. It is important that I understand the needs and concerns of my patients, so we can work together toward a treatment plan they understand, feel comfortable with, is sustainable, and meets their goals.”
