About Kristine Chen, MD

  • Dr. Chen is now scheduling appointments for clinic visits starting on August 25 for patients of all ages. For appointments, call ARC Round Rock at 512-244-9024.

Dr. Chen was born in Round Rock and grew up in Cedar Park, TX. In her free time, she enjoys running, training for races, being outdoors, reading, traveling, and going to music festivals. She also loves spending time with her family and fiancé.

I chose a career in Family Medicine because I truly value long-term relationships with my patients—it’s such a precious and unique part of what we do. I want to be there for my patients throughout even the smallest moments and work together to improve their quality of life. I place a huge emphasis on preventive medicine. I want to be the first line of defense, helping patients navigate our complex healthcare system and advocating for them as necessary. I also believe that social determinants of health are extremely important, and understanding patients as a whole is the key to providing excellent, compassionate care.
