About
Alison G. Kartush, MD
-
Dr. Kartush grew up in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. Dr. Kartush is married to her medical school sweetheart from Tulane and has two young daughters. She spends "a lot of time playing, swimming, and hiking with them and our goldendoodle." One of her favorite area locales is Barton (and Barking!) Springs in Austin.
As an ENT, I get to take care of patients of all ages, from newborns to 90-year-olds, and I love when I see multiple generations of patients from one family. I like that every area of surgery utilizes different technology and techniques, and that surgery is always evolving to take better care of patients. I love that often, when we see patients with a problem, we can treat them with medication or surgery and significantly improve their quality of life. I believe every patient should feel respected, heard, and cared for. I counsel patients like they are my family, and make sure that they feel well informed for every decision, medical or surgical, that we make together.
