About Ryan P. Peterson, MD

  • Dr. Peterson grew up in central Nebraska. As a relative newcomer to the Central Texas area, Dr. Peterson enjoys the food offerings and live music scene of Austin with his wife (also an ARC Pediatrician), reading, and college football (Nebraska fan, of course!).

I initially chose to pursue a career in medicine because of the intellectual challenge it posed, but I later realized that relationships formed through clinical experiences are the most rewarding part of being a physician. I strive to foster open and constructive communication with my patients, to provide individualized care and guidance, and to do this cheerfully, with the goal of helping a child become the healthiest and happiest version of him/herself. I am fortunate to work in pediatrics, and I take the responsibility of caring for your child seriously.

Dr. Ryan Peterson is the only doctor my two sons trust.

  • September 19, 2024

Both nurse and Dr. Peterson were really patient with us as the appointment was for my daughter and my son had to entertain himself in the room during - they gave time and attention acknowledging both kids and including my son even though he wasn't the patient. I also appreciate how thorough Dr. Peterson is describing his assessment and treatment plan to us. Always gives us confidence!
