She enjoys meeting new friends and establishing long-term relationships with patients. Dr. Aguiar is a big gardener and enjoys music and nature with her husband, daughter, and two Chihuahuas.

I chose internal medicine because it provides me the opportunity to develop effective and longitudinal relationships with patients, as well as the opportunity to guide them towards a healthier lifestyle. Patients always come first in my practice. With my knowledge, compassion, ability to be a good listener, and interest in innovative care practices, I give my patients the best and most modern care available. I believe in evidence-based medicine and that a clean diet and regular exercise are the basis to prevent disease.

Dr Aguiar is the best! I keep coming back to ARC even though I’ve moved an hour away because of the quality of care she provides.

She's absolutely thorough and on point to detail. I had to go to 2 after hours visits with other 2 different doctors. The first one last Friday gave me the wrong antibiotic and made me worse, so I had to back yesterday and this doctor was much better and did much more for me. He also changed the antibiotic, but still wasn't doing the full job. I had to come back today to see Dr Aguiar and she decided that I still needed a combo of antibiotics for my body to get rid of this horrible infection. She knows what my body needs better than anyone due to my complex health history and severe lung disease. She's the best doctor ever!! I'm very pleased with her care.

I have been fortunate to have such a good doctor n very helpful n doesn’t ouch or make me feel bad if I have not quite met my goals. She gently reminds me to keep trying n that I am doing ok. Just to get a little more exercise. I like my doctor.
