About Alinda R. Cox, MD

  • Dr. Cox’s passion is to go on medical mission trips. She has been to Ghana, India, the Dominican Republic, Peru, and Haiti, providing medical care to those underdeveloped countries, and believes that those who have privilege should help those who are underprivileged. Dr. Cox enjoys staying physically fit, and says, “my sport is basketball!”

I chose medicine, particularly Ob/Gyn, because I enjoy interacting with people and their families. I love the science of diagnosing a problem and ultimately helping cure a disease. In no other specialty are two lives being taken care of at one time. I thoroughly enjoy this challenge.

  • June 24, 2025

Doctor Cox and the staff at ARC GYN OB were very helpful, experienced and kind in their approach n delivery of sensitive diagnosis.

  • June 24, 2025

I waited 40/45 minutes to see the doctor, and when Dr. Cox came in she looked like she didn't even want to be there. She told me, "Why was I seeing her rather than my doctor, and why couldn't I wait another day to me see my own, my doctor." I felt uncomfortable and that she didn't want to help me. She did over my ultrasound and order tests for me when I started explaining what I was going through.

  • June 21, 2025

Dr. Cox & her staff are all super nice. She?s conscientious & thorough. I was in/out & on my way quickly.

  • June 19, 2025

Everyone was very friendly and it was so easy to check in and get ready to be seen. The wait wasn’t too long especially considering that I was running a little late.

  • June 18, 2025

I like the office staff and Dr. Cox well enough that I am willing to travel across Austin and get stuck in traffic.

  • June 18, 2025

    everything went smooth.
