About Swati D. Date, MD

  • Dr. Date was born in India, moved to the United States at age seven, to Houston at age eight, and Texas has been her home since. In her free time, Dr. Date enjoys cooking, reading (special interest in ancient civilizations and history), gardening, and birding. Dr. Date and her husband have two grown children and a dog “that is the baby of the family” and also requests a nightly walk! She enjoys the many interesting Central Texas spots where nature displays its beauty.

The inspiration provided by a close family friend who was a physician, my interest in the biological sciences, and the service-oriented aspect of medicine all led to my desire to become a doctor. I believe that health care is a partnership between the patient and provider.

Doctor Date is such an excellent doctor, beautiful attitude. She is a blessing to have around.

  • May 13, 2025

I can’t put my finger on it but the doctor seemed a little annoyed by my questions. Also my appointment was at 8:15 am and I still had to wait 25 minutes which seems like a long wait for a first thing in the morning appointment.

  • May 13, 2025

This was the fastest and overall most efficient sick visit I’ve had. I mistaken booked the sick visit in the wrong day but the were able to see me very quickly that same time. I was able to get a prescription very fast and get back to my commitments.

Dr. date is very caring and wants to find the problem for your pain and discomfort. She listens to you and tries her best to figure out what’s going on. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a good internal medicine doctor.
