About Swati D. Date, MD

  • Dr. Date currently has long wait times for new patients. Please see below for physician and advanced practice clinicians (APCs) she recommends to new patients wanting to transfer or establish care at ARC.

If Dr. Date is your primary care physician, please book your appointment via your ARC MyChart account or call 512-ARC-INFO (512-272-4636).

Dr. Date was born in India, moved to the United States at age seven, to Houston at age eight, and Texas has been her home since. In her free time, Dr. Date enjoys cooking, reading (special interest in ancient civilizations and history), gardening, and birding. Dr. Date and her husband have two grown children and a dog “that is the baby of the family” and also requests a nightly walk! She enjoys the many interesting Central Texas spots where nature displays its beauty.

The inspiration provided by a close family friend who was a physician, my interest in the biological sciences, and the service-oriented aspect of medicine all led to my desire to become a doctor. I believe that health care is a partnership between the patient and provider.

She is researching my swollen ankle issues. My previous doctor just chalked it off to arthritis. The problem has gotten worse. Dr Date is making me feel better because she is looking for other possible causes. Thank the heavens!
