About Philip A. Roberts, MD

  • Dr. Roberts only sees patients for same-day illness and injury visits. Patients should always follow up with their primary care physician (PCP).

Dr. Roberts grew up in the Catskills region of New York state. As a classically-trained pianist and violist, Dr. Roberts enjoys playing the piano in his free time, along with running, hiking, travel, cooking, and spending time with his family and pets. He is a “foodie,” and also enjoys exploring the restaurant scene in Austin and Central Texas. Among his favorite area locales are the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, the greenbelt for hiking, and Lady Bird Lake.

I chose a career in Family Medicine, particularly Urgent Care, because I wanted to serve all age groups, from newborns to the elderly. I enjoy the urgent care setting due to the myriad of acute healthcare issues and different problems each patient has. Most importantly, I enjoy providing great health care in an efficient manner. I believe in treating every patient with compassion, dignity, and respect. These three principles are the foundation for a strong physician-patient relationship.

    1. Early in the morning and explain to the lady wouldn't happen to me, and if anybody could take care of me today 2. she was very sympathetic as to what I had told her that I thought my wrist was broken and she said that she would have to get a hold of one of the nurses to be able to call me back and hopefully be taking care of my problem 3. it was only maybe five minutes later that a nurse returned my call and asked me what my situation was again and I told her and she immediately said that she had openings this afternoon and I chose the earliest available appointment. 4. I cannot complain, because ARC Was on top of what I thought was an emergency and evidently they thought so ALSO?. THANK YOU ARC! !!
