About Carlos Romero, DPM, FACFAS

  • Dr. Romero enjoys photography, and his patients can see some of his photographs in his office. He also enjoys jazz, opera, furniture restoration, and cooking. He enjoys time with his children, taking an art class with one of his daughters, piano lessons with another, and Scouting with his three sons. Dr. Romero loves to dance with his wife, and travel to new and old familiar locations.

I enjoy serving my patients. I knew for a long time that I wanted to be in medicine, and the more I pursued Podiatry, the more it appealed to me. I get to help people where life hits the pavement. Helping people get back on their feet is truly rewarding. I try to see my patients’ medical needs in an interdisciplinary way by treating the vascular, orthopedic, dermatological and neurological issues regarding the foot and ankle. Foot problems can be simple or complicated, either way--I enjoy the challenge.

Orthotics are medical aids prescribed by your podiatrist to improve foot and ankle issues, including foot deformities, arch pain, heel pain, diabetic foot ulcers, lower leg tendonitis, overpronation or over supination, back pain, and bunions.

It's always such a pleasure to see Dr. Romero! He only sees me once a year, but always remembers me. He takes the time to be sure that the main purpose for my visit has been addressed, specifically asking about this to be sure. He is one of my very favorite doctors!

Just the wait while in the room waiting for the doctor to arrive. It’s always past the time of the appointment

  • November 9, 2022

Waited 30 minutes to go back to patient room and another 15 to be seen by doctor. Would there be a way via phone messages to let us know if doctor is delayed instead of seeing it when walk into clinic? That would be helpful ! However, The doctor is really great and I am grateful to be seen by him.

Dr. Carlos Romero was very knowledgeable and also kind. He addressed all my concerns and was very understanding when I told him I would not be able to follow some of his recommendations. He also said he would include those recommendations in my discharge papers in case I changed my mind.
