About Heidi W. Busceme, MD, FAAP

  • After practicing in a small city in Northeast Texas, Dr. Busceme and her family relocated to Austin in January 2009. She loves every aspect of Austin including outdoor activities, festivals, and the theater. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, whether playing at the park, swimming, or just hanging out at home.

The greatest part of being a pediatrician is the opportunity to watch a child grow. My goal is to help parents raise their children to be happy, healthy, and productive adults. I believe in treating every child with respect, just as I would my own.

I loved how quick and easy it was to check in, find parking, and see the doctor even though we were late coming in for our appointment. I also enjoyed that we did not feel rushed during the appointment and that Dr. Busceme allowed us to speak freely and ask any questions we may have had about baby. Really made us feel at ease and wanting to continue our care primarily with Dr.Busceme. I think our daughter only being 6 days old really enjoyed her as well!

Dr. Busceme is great with explaining everything and made my child feel at ease. She is very thorough and addressed all of my concerns.

MD’s nurse is very unfriendly and should not be working with kids.
