Austin Regional Clinic (ARC) doctors, staff, and leadership are committed to providing our community with high quality convenient care. One of the ways we demonstrate this priority is through our online transparency.
You can review our provider ratings and comments on our web site with the confidence that they are all based on verified visits. We post all patient feedback relevant to the entire visit and only refrain from posting comments that are libelous, profane, or those that risk the privacy of our patients.
The below guide provides details about how we collect and share our patient feedback.
Patients for whom we have a mobile phone number receive a text survey within two hours of checking in for their visit. Patients are asked to complete the survey and provide ratings and comments regarding their experience at different touch points of their visit. We use this feedback to recognize doctors and staff, identify issues we can correct, and enhance our care.
ARC posts all positive and negative patient feedback that is relevant to the entire visit. We refrain from posting comments that are libelous, profane, or those that risk the privacy of our patients.
ARC asks questions that touch on the overall patient experience related to their visit. Anyone seeking detailed information about each question can view the ratings for each specific question on the Reviews tab on the provider bio page on the website. We calculate our provider star ratings based on the responses to question number six below. We calculate our location star ratings based on the responses to all the below questions.
Since more recent data provides a more accurate picture, we require a minimum of 30 patient surveys per doctor in the last 12 months before we post a physician’s rating.
ARC physicians and staff review all comments and act to rectify issues. Since the purpose of the feedback is to allow us to improve the overall patient experience, we display the last 90 days of comments which are the most relevant for the practice.
No. Only patients having an outpatient visit by an ARC physician receive a survey. The results are based entirely from patients who have actually been treated by the physician in our clinics.
Comments are reviewed and approved prior to being published to the website. If a comment contains any personally identifiable information, that information will be removed from the comment.
This summer, Kelly Coleman, APRN, will be expanding her practice to ARC South Specialty. She will continue seeing patients at ARC Far West Medical Tower.
Kelly is helping care for sleep medicine patients.
Kelly Coleman grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. When she is not working, Kelly is a clinical herbalist working with native Texas healing plants from her medicine garden at her home in South Austin. She can often be found in the woods, wildcrafting plants, in the kitchen making medicines, or reading about healing arts and traditions. Her favorite spot is – naturally – her backyard medicine garden!

Very matter of fact regarding meeting and the topics we discussed. She’s very knowledgeable about the equipment and I think we found a solution to one of the reasons why I’m having a difficult time. I did enjoy our conversation.
Kelly Coleman was very easy to work with and very professional!
She was so nice and explained everything in a way I could understand and was.very interested in getting me the help I need
I felt that the doctor was badgering me and that she didn’t take the time to explain what she needed from me before we started. Rather than forcing me to answer questions I had no precise answer for (exactly how long I’d had sleep problems and exactly when did I start taking certain medicines), it would have been better to send me home with a questionnaire so that I could look up the precise information. I also think she could have gotten much of the information from my chart. She also gave me wrong info about a drug I’m taking. Also, the amount of time allotted for my visit was cut short by a knock on the door by her assistant. I didn’t have enough time to ask questions or get adequate information. I’ve never experienced this before from a doctor at ARC. The visit was completely unsuccessful and I won’t make an appointment with her again.
Ms. Coleman seemed relatively positive that I have sleep apnea while I have not undergone any testing for it and spent the vast majority of the session explaining sleep apnea and treatment. She used the term ?fat? multiple times during the assessment. It seems a more professional term could have been used, like elevated body mass index or even obese.
She was very informative and helpful. The visit was very informative and I gave me a new perspective. I thank her for the information and the perspective she shared. She was very helpful and insightful. I appreciate her insight. Thank you very much.
