About
Ricardo J. Chapa, MD
-
Dr. Chapa was born in Laredo, TX, but has lived in Austin since 2008. When he is not working, Dr. Chapa enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and going to comedy shows in the Austin area with his wife. Among his favorite area locales is the Lady Bird Lake Trail.
I chose to be a pediatrician because children are the future! It brings me joy knowing I can be part of how a child grows and develops into a healthy adult. I believe every patient is unique, and it is important to sit down, slow down, and really listen to the patient’s/parents’ concerns. Working collaboratively, we can then come up with a treatment plan that will work best for each individual.
