Amy M. Hunt, DO
When she’s not
working, Dr. Hunt loves spending time with her husband and two children,
especially outdoors with activities like running, biking, kayaking and
“basically anything we can do outdoors together.” She is often found “cheering
loudly” on the sideline of her sons’ sporting events, and on Sundays, the
family enjoys church together. Dr. Hunt’s favorite local spot is Lake
Georgetown, where the family loves kayaking.
a pediatrician, I have the privilege of walking alongside families through the
most exciting and challenging seasons of life, forging deep and meaningful
relationships built on trust. My goal is to provide relevant, evidence-based
medicine in an environment where children feel cherished and parents feel their
voices are heard.
- Ear Piercing
Many of our trusted ARC pediatricians offer pediatric ear piercing in a comfortable, clean, and safe environment.
- Flu Shots
A Flu vaccine can help prevent flu-related visits to the doctor each year. CDC recommends everyone 6 months and older get vaccinated every flu season.
- Fluoride Varnish for Children
Fluoride Varnish for Children
Regular dental care should begin by 1 year of age, with a dental check-up at least twice each year for most children. Some children may need check-ups more often.
- Immunizations and Schedules
Immunizations and Schedules
Immunizations help provide immunity to children and adults before they are exposed to potentially harmful diseases like hepatitis B, measles, mumps, polio and more.
- Pediatric Eye Exam
Pediatric Eye Exam
A pediatric eye exam can detect abnormalities like amblyopia, when the brain fails to process inputs from both eyes and, over time, favors one eye over the other, leading to a lifelong deficit in binocular vision.
- Pediatric Meet & Greet
Pediatric Meet & Greet
Preparing for your baby's arrival is an exciting time that can raise questions about the health care your child will receive. A free ARC Pediatric Meet & Greet is an excellent opportunity for you to learn about our practice and inquire about an individual doctors' philosophy of caring for infants, children, and teens.
- Pediatric Mental Health
Pediatric Mental Health
When you have concerns about your child’s mental or behavioral health, your ARC pediatrician will help you determine the kind of help you need and will help you access the right resources for your child.
- Telemedicine Visits
ARC offers telemedicine visits for primary and specialty care. Doctors can quickly evaluate you for a new health issue or follow up with you via a phone call or video visit from the comfort of your home.
- Well-Check Exam
A well-check exam focuses on maintaining your child’s health and is a time to discuss preventive care. Our doctor's cover growth, development, immunization updates, health, safety, nutrition, physical fitness, puberty, acne, learning, behavioral questions, and family and social concerns.
