About Elisabeth (Betsy) Blank, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

  • Betsy grew up in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas and has been in Austin since 2008. In her free time, she is a “chauffeur” for her two young boys to their various afterschool activities. Betsy enjoys music, playing the piano, and singing. Married to a musician, she loves seeing live music. And she says, “you can’t live in Austin without taking advantage of the hiking trails and swimming holes!” Among her favorite area locales are Hamilton Pool, Pease Park, and McKinney Falls State Park.

I have had and have heard of negative experiences at the physician’s office. I wanted to be a provider where people look forward to going to the clinic and feel comfortable speaking with me. I love Family Medicine because I can care for entire families and create meaningful relationships with my patients. I believe in having an open dialogue with my patients to individualize their care and achieve the best patient outcomes. I provide holistic healthcare while adhering to an evidence-based practice.

    Polite and answered my questions

  • June 7, 2024

Betsy is fantastic but it's difficult to get an appointment in a reasonable time frame. Y'all need to quit overbooking new patients to your providers so they can provide timely care to their established patients.

    Great medical care

Dr Blanks was very nice & she treated me as if I was a long standing patient of hers even though today was my first time seeing her.

Betsy truly makes you feel at home when you go to visit her. She actually reads your chart and knows about you before she goes into the room, so don't feel like you're starting from scratch. She follows up on things that we had been talking about a year ago, really love her as my PCP!

It was obvious they were busy however, I didn’t feel like I needed to waited for too long and everyone was realistic about timelines, which is always greatly appreciated. Overall, a good experience.
