I chose this career path because I wanted to help people be healthy, achieve their goals, and be comfortable with who they are. I believe in treating people with kindness and respect, appreciating who they are, listening to what they say, and providing them with accurate information to help them make positive decisions about their health and life.
Sue Milam has had a long career in health and human services at both the state and local levels. When she is not working, she enjoys working in the yard, walking her dogs, playing golf, reading, and listening to NPR. Her favorite local area is the Lady Bird Lake Hike & Bike Trail.
