Jessica Navarro, PA-C
-
Jessica Navarro serves as a pediatric physician assistant for ARC, working with Dr. James Anderson and the pediatric behavioral health team.
Jessica was born in Oceanside, CA, and lived in several California cities, though she calls Temecula, CA, home. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring nature with her partner and two dogs. Jessica also enjoys completing jigsaw puzzles and spending time in the kitchen cooking and trying new recipes. Being relatively new to Central Texas, she's still having fun exploring and discovering new places, including Covert Park at Mount Bonnell in Austin.
Coordinated care across specialties
Our pediatric doctors and advanced practice clinicians (APCs) work closely with our dedicated ARC specialists who see children to coordinate your child's care. All ARC clinicians can access your child's health records directly without delay, resulting in more convenient and timely quality care for you and your child. Together, we emphasize prevention, evidence-based treatment, comprehensive care, and building long-term relationships.
Learn more about Physician Assistants.
I always knew I wanted to pursue a career in medicine, though I was not sure of what path to take. I began my career as a medical assistant in family medicine, where I had the opportunity to work closely with a physician assistant and patients of all ages. Seeing the difference the PA made in patients' lives inspired me to become a PA. My approach is to meet each patient where they are and take the time to truly listen to their concerns. I believe building trust is an important part of mental and behavioral health care, especially when working with children and adolescents, and I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where patients and families feel heard, supported, and involved in their care.
