I chose Family Medicine because it is the perfect combination of science and service, providing both the challenge of keeping up with the latest developments in medicine, and also allowing for close relationships with patients, their families, and the community. Patients and their families trust their doctors with their health issues, and health is precious. I believe in being deserving of this trust, and working hard to be sure my patients get the best care possible. This includes pushing forward to keep learning new approaches that can improve patient outcomes.
Dr. Momin grew up in Austin, TX, graduating from McNeil High School. When she’s not working, Dr. Momin is “passionate” about astrophysics, geology, and global health, and has practiced health care internationally in Kenya, Mexico, and Uganda. She loves spending time with her family and dog, Charlie. And any opportunity that she has, she’s outdoors – kayaking, hiking, running, paddleboarding. Dr.Momin’s favorite area locale is a “small nook off Loop 360 that’s near the river, where it’s quiet and the sunsets are beautiful.”
