About Grace C. Yu, MD, FAAP

  • Dr. Yu's last day at ARC will be Thursday, August 3, 2023. Please see below for providers she recommends to new patients wanting to transfer or establish care at ARC. Read letter.

Dr. Yu grew up in Plano, TX, and says she is a “Texas native through and through!” When she is not working, Dr. Yu enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and son, as well as attending church activities. She can be found cooking, sipping on milk tea, watching Disney movies, cheering on the Dallas Mavericks, or exploring the area’s outdoor and food scenes. Dr. Yu’s favorite area locale is Mt. Bonnell in Austin – “where my husband proposed!” They return often to enjoy the beautiful view of the hills, water, and city skyline.

Medicine is an art that combines the magic of science and gentleness of human compassion. Children’s pure imagination, amazing resilience, and hopeful spirits drew me to pursue a career in pediatrics. There is nothing more special than having the opportunity to guide the physical, emotional, and spiritual growth of a child from infancy to young adulthood. My priority is to partner with each family to meet their child’s unique personality and medical needs while practicing evidence-based medicine. I seek to become a trusted advisor and friend to families for many years to come.
