About Damian D. Dos Santos, MD, FAAP

  • Dr. Dos Santos' last day at ARC was Tuesday, June 27, 2023. Read letter.

Dr. Dos Santos was born in Argentina, but grew up in Connecticut and then lived in Dallas during his pediatric training. In his free time, he enjoys soccer, hiking, going for walks with his wife and Boston terrier, and traveling/exploring new places. Among his favorite area spots is Zilker Park, where he loves walking their dog.

I was always very interested in science and biology, so medicine was a natural fit for me. My most memorable moments in medical school were the connections I developed with my patients and families during my Pediatrics rotation, leading me to choose this specialty. I am always most interested in what the patient/parent wants to talk about. My first question at every visit is ‘Any questions or concerns today?’ Letting the parent/patient guide the visit tends to lead to the best care.
