Angela Locke grew up in Montrose, Colorado. When she is not working, Angela stays “very busy at home with two boys, one dog, seven chickens, and fish!” She loves gardening, which, she says, has been her “toughest challenge since moving to Texas.” Being relatively new to the community, Angela is still exploring all the great places in the region.
Medicine may seem cold, and some feel like they are ‘just another patient,’ but this doesn’t have to be the case. I chose medicine because I want to change how people feel about going to their provider. My goal is to build relationships and provide the best information/care for patients, all the while treating them with compassion and dignity. I approach my practice and every encounter like a very well-known quote by Maya Angelou: ‘At the end of the day, people won’t remember what you said or did, they will remember how you made them feel.
