Learn more about Nurse Practitioners.
I decided to pursue a career in nursing after the birth of my first child. My nurses were supportive and helpful and made me feel confident during that time when I felt vulnerable, influencing my decision to change career paths. I believe that holistic care is paramount, and I focus on all aspects of a patient’s well being and how their condition or reason for accessing health care will impact their physical, emotional, and social well being. I believe primary prevention is key in helping patients reach their healthcare goals and is essential in empowering them to live their best lives. My hope is that every patient I meet feels well cared for and supported through the provision of patient-centered, evidence-based care and individualized health education.
