About Tessa M. Reavis, APRN

  • Tessa grew up in Houston, TX. When she is not working, Tessa and her partner love food and enjoy hunting down the best restaurants. She can also be found taking her shih tzu, Odie, all over town. Tessa also enjoys gardening, walking on the Lady Bird Lake trail, and is an avid Harry Potter fan. Her favorite Central Texas spot is Enchanted Rock, where, she says, “the stars on a clear night are incredible!”

I chose a career in pediatrics because children are the light of my life! I feel privileged to watch them grow up and to be able to help them and their parents along the way with support and guidance. My philosophy is to partner with my patients through open communication and creating a safe space. I want my patients and their parents to feel heard, cared for, and empowered to make the health care decisions that are best for them and their families!

Tessa was knowledgeable and professional. Will be coming back to see her.

Everyone I saw was very helpful and nice. Going down to X-ray was confusing. I was told to to to X-ray/lab check in but they told me to go across the hall to X-rays, but then it’s not a check-in desk or person, but just a paper to fill out. It would have been helpful if we were told to look for the table in the hall, fill out the paper, then wait to be called. Not a complaint - just something I think would be helpful especially when people are already stressed and uncertain.

  • April 23, 2024

There is really not expectation of continuity of care and on a pres patient with multiple issues that’s just not acceptable

  • April 16, 2024

The staff were caring, thorough and listened.

  • April 11, 2024

The lady checking in people to do bloodwork was not nice or helpful. Other than that minor issue, all was great!

  • March 28, 2024

Tessa was amazing with my daughter and made her feel comfortable. She also answered all questions with compassion and grace!
