About Stephanie J. Harris, APRN, FNP-BC

  • Stephanie Harris was born in California, and lived in several places as part of a military family before growing up in Goldsboro, North Carolina. In her free time, she enjoys “playing and loving on” her pup, Luna Belle, going to concerts, and “anything involving my alma mater, North Carolina A&T, including football and basketball.” Being relatively new to the area, Ms. Harris is looking forward to exploring the area in the future.

    Learn more about Nurse Practitioners.

I believe nursing is in my blood, as both of my grandmothers were nurses. I fell in love with patient care and being an advocate for those in their most vulnerable time. I believe in a holistic approach, as my patients are more than their medical ailment – they are a whole person and there needs to be balance in their life. Most importantly, patients sometimes just need me to pause, listen, and care. And I emphasize preventive care, and early intervention when possible.

Wait time in the room was long but we understand that longer visits occur

  • May 5, 2023

Today was a good appointment! Was in and out in a hour. Front desk was nice. Short wait time. And I give the doctor and her staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Dr and staff were really good at their job. And make my son feel happy and not scared at all.

  • May 5, 2023

they talked more about me being fat then why i came in. they asked why i gained weight and i explained them i have depression and binge eat. their response was “don’t binge eat.” that is the most useless response i have ever received. i’m not dumb i’ve tried to not binge eat. but it’s a coping mechanism in which i’ve had deep rooted in mind since a kid. it was extremely insensitive. it’s like telling someone with depression to just stop being sad.

Ms Harris was kind and would definitely schedule with her again :)

  • April 27, 2023

Pediatricians waiting room could use more books or toys

We loved that Ms Stephanie talked right to child and was kind and gentle and playful.
