Dr. Ahmed grew up in Queens, New York – “one of the most diverse counties in the U.S.!” When she is not working, Dr. Ahmed enjoys discovering new restaurants and attending various outdoor festivals. Being relatively new to Central Texas, she is exploring the area and welcomes recommendations for great places!
After losing my mother to cancer at age 15, I saw how much of a difference a thorough and compassionate doctor could make in someone’s life. Our doctors were so kind during that incredibly difficult time. My goal is to bring the same level of commitment to my patients. I believe Pediatrics is a team effort. I try to engage my patients in decisions where possible, while also keeping in mind the needs of the parents, and the best medical decision-making.
