More Info

I chose Family Medicine as my specialty because I didn’t want to work with just one group of people. I love treating all ages and a variety of medical issues, and being the primary care physician for an entire family is very fulfilling. I also have a special interest and training in pediatrics and women’s health issues. I work with my patients to help them be as happy and healthy as possible. In my experience, the art of medicine is 90% listening and 10% everything else.

Personal Summary

Dr. Thompson grew up in southern Utah, near the beautiful Bryce Canyon National Park. When she’s not working, Dr. Thompson enjoys spending time with her husband, running, cooking and dancing. Being relatively new to the community, she says she still has a lot to see in the area, but one of her favorite places so far is Zilker Park.
