About Susan Callaway, MD

  • Dr. Callaway is a native Texan who went away to college, but came back home to live and work. She lives in south Austin, where she enjoys the diversity of the community, including the Hispanic and Deaf communities. Dr. Callaway enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and her extended household of horses, dogs, chickens, and pot-bellied pigs.

I enjoy helping people figure out how to help themselves to better health.

Really appreciated that Dr. Callaway understood what I was feeling , assessed, and took care of my issue very promptly. I did not have a long wait and I was in and out. I needed to get back to work so I was very appreciative.

I like that Dr. Susan Callaway made me feel heard. She asked questions that were important & pertinent to my issue. I felt her care & analysis were thorough and her bedside manner was amazing. I would definitely see her again in future, if I have to! It was a good experience overall. I will recommend her as a doctor, to family & friends.
