About
Saulette R. Tillman, MD, FACC
-
Dr. Tillman grew up in Philadelphia, PA. When she is not at work, Dr. Tillman enjoys spending time with her family, working out/exercising, and reading.
I chose a career in Cardiovascular Medicine years after witnessing, as a child, my maternal grandmother have a massive myocardial infarction and then die. I was profoundly affected by her death and became interested in medicine as a result. I became fascinated with the human body, anatomy, and cardiovascular disease. My focus is on prevention with a holistic guideline-based approach to medical management and treatment. The most important thing we can do for cardiac patients is to educate them about risk factor reduction and lifestyle management changes.
