chose medicine because I wanted a career where I could see that I was helping
people on a daily basis. I also found that I enjoy interacting with different
people throughout the day. I believe that listening to a patient is the
cornerstone of diagnosis. While honoring time-honored practices in
medicine, it is also important to apply the latest technical advances to
diagnosis and treatment, using an evidence-based approach. Equally important, I
believe in educating patients so they can then choose the right treatment
option for themselves. I also believe that helping people keep healthy through
exercise and nutrition is one of the most valuable services I can offer.
