About
Khranasa (Nesa) Mohebpour, MD
-
Dr. Mohebpour is an ARC Family Medicine doctor who sees patients at ARC clinics as needed.
Dr. Mohebpour is a Houston native. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones and playing with her dog, Poncho. Dr. Mohebpour also enjoys swimming, practicing yoga, reading books or learning something new from a podcast, watching nature documentaries, and spending time outdoors. She says she loves “all things food!,” including eating, cooking, baking, and trying new restaurants. Dr. Mohebpour lists a number of favorite area locales, including the Barton Creek/Zilker Park areas, Lake Travis, Mozart’s Coffee Roasters, Mandola’s Italian Kitchen, and “my old stomping grounds on the UT campus – Hook ‘em Horns!”
I chose Family Medicine as my specialty because I wanted the opportunity to take care of patients throughout the life cycle. I am passionate about primary care and I value preventive health, patient education, and long-lasting relationships with my patients. I believe in prevention, prevention, prevention! It is easier to prevent health conditions from developing than it is to manage or cure them. Small steps can go a long way in health behavior change, and consistency is key – try to make one change at a time and sustain it, rather than trying to change several things at once and be unable to maintain those changes. I like to meet my patients where they are and work in partnership to help them define health goals that mean the most to them.
