    Learn more about Nurse Practitioners.

As an ICU nurse, I cared for patients who had frequent exacerbations of chronic conditions. I wanted to provide primary post-acute care to prevent unnecessary hospitalizations. Geriatrics is a newer specialty, but one that requires dedication as our population ages. I believe that family members are the experts on their loved ones, and my two most important skills are listening and educating. I love empowering patients and families to participate in their care.
