Lab and testing services

Laboratory (lab) tests are a procedure in which your health care provider takes a sample of your blood, urine, other body fluid, or body tissue to get information about your health. Lab tests are often used to help diagnose or screen for a specific disease or condition.

For your convenience, most ARC clinic locations offer on-site labs for sample collection.

Diagnosing disease and conditions

If your ARC physician orders a lab test for you, it will generally be for medical diagnosis or disease prevention. Types of tests most requested by your doctor include blood work, a metabolic panel, or lipid and liver panels. The labs at ARC clinics can also test for things like COVID-19, diabetes, strep, and flu.

If you want to have your lab work done at an ARC clinic other than your own through ARC Connected Care, that is easily accomplished.
