Complete Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in ARC MyChart
The safety and security of your protected health information (PHI) is of the utmost importance. Because of this, ARC MyChart requires Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for all MyChart users. This applies for both the website version and the app.
What does this mean?
- ARC MyChart will prompt you to enter a verification code at login.
- The verification code will be sent via email or text message.
- You can have ARC MyChart remember your browser and device for 30 days. After 30 days, you will need enter a new verification code at login. If you use private mode or Microsoft Edge and your browser settings clear your cache upon exit, your device will not be saved.
Confirm your contact information is up to date
- Log in to ARC MyChart and confirm that your mobile number and email are correct and up to date. Confirm that your phone and/or email address is verified to receive the code.
- If your mobile phone number or email is not correct, update your mobile number and/or email address in ARC MyChart.
How to complete Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
- Log in to your ARC MyChart account. After you sign in, you’ll see the Verify Your Identity screen.
- Select how you would like to receive your code. You can choose email or text.
- Check your email or phone for the code depending on what you chose. Make sure to open a new tab to retrieve your email, or access it on your phone if you are on an internet browser, like Chrome or Firefox. DO NOT click the back button during verification; it will disable the verification code, and you’ll need to restart the process.

- Enter the code in the box and click Verify. If you would like MyChart to recognize your browser and device for 30 days, check the Skip this step next time box. After 30 days, you will be prompted to enter a new verification code at login.
